This portable media player from Ematic offers versatile playback of audio and video files, FM radio and voice recording, and a wealth of handy tools like a built-in stopwatch, e-book reader, calendar, and plenty more. And just like its touchscreen big brother the E4, it features a 5-megapixel camera to let you shoot still photos or video.
4 GB Flash Memory, Expandable to 12 GB
The E5 features 4 gigabytes of on-board memory–enough room for over 2,300 songs, thousands of pictures, or 20 hours of video. If that’s not enough room, you can pop in a MicroSD card and double it. You can even swap out different cards for an instant library change.
Versatile Media Playback
The E5 supports MP3 and WMA audio files, along with uncompressed WAV files, and OGG, FLAC, and APE files. On the video front, you get AVI, MP4, RM, RMVB, MP4, 3GP, and FLV video formats (or use the included software to convert other formats to a viewable file type). If you’re using Windows, you can even use the included MediaImpression Downloader software to grab videos from YouTube and other websites with Flash streaming video, then view them on your player.
Built-in Still/Video Camera
Take pictures and record video with the built-in 5-megapixel camera, complete with special video effects such as black and white, negative, or sepia. When hooked up to a computer via USB, it can be used as a webcam. Furthermore, you can connect your player to your TV and use it to watch movies, view photos, or listen to music using the included RCA cables.
FM Tuner/Recorder
When you’re in the mood for some live programming–your favorite morning show, the traffic report, evening news, or a few classic rock sets–flip on the FM radio. You also get the ability to record right off the radio, so you can save a song or piece for later reference/enjoyment.
2.4-Inch QVGA Display and TV Output
View artist and song info, play your favorite video clips or movies, and take it all in on the E5′s brilliant 2.4-inch QVGA display. If the screen’s not enough, use the included TV out cable and you’ll be able to enjoy whatever you want to watch on your television.

Use the handy voice recorder to capture lectures, memos, meetings, or anything else that might merit a quick field recording.
Built-in Speaker
