4 GB Flash Memory, Expandable to 12 GB
The E5 features 4 gigabytes of on-board memory–enough room for over 2,300 songs, thousands of pictures, or 20 hours of video. If that’s not enough room, you can pop in a MicroSD card and double it. You can even swap out different cards for an instant library change.
Versatile Media Playback
The E5 supports MP3 and WMA audio files, along with uncompressed WAV files, and OGG, FLAC, and APE files. On the video front, you get AVI, MP4, RM, RMVB, MP4, 3GP, and FLV video formats (or use the included software to convert other formats to a viewable file type). If you’re using Windows, you can even use the included MediaImpression Downloader software to grab videos from YouTube and other websites with Flash streaming video, then view them on your player.
Built-in Still/Video Camera
Take pictures and record video with the built-in 5-megapixel camera, complete with special video effects such as black and white, negative, or sepia. When hooked up to a computer via USB, it can be used as a webcam.
